Collaborative Tee-Shirt Balling Workshop!

Join us for this special, collaborative workshop where you’ll contribute to the production of a monumental textile sculpture with Ann Middleton.
Through a hands-on, guided making process and informal discussion with other participants you will collectively explore how something as simple as an old tee-shirt can hold endless personal meaning. This event will explore ideas of parenthood and mutual support to create a sculpture with depth and weight.

We encourage you to bring a tee-shirt that has sentimental value to you – but that you are ready to part with.
Ann Middleton is currently completing a professional development residency with Coventry Biennial as a part of her final year of study on the BA(Hons) Fine Art course at Coventry University. You can find out more about this professional development programme in this blog post.
