Hyper-Texts Updated
Duncan Whitley, Phoenix City 2021, Production Still, 2020
HYPER-TEXTS, our publicly accessible reading list that is designed to help artists, educators, students and the public to get the most out of our programmes has been updated. These most recent additions have come from some of our friends and collaborators who are generously supporting the development of the 3rd Coventry Biennial.
melissandre varin, who recently made a new artwork for our DO IT YOURSELF! project, has suggested books and videos that they have been referring to in the early development of a new project that they will be presenting at Coventry Biennial 2021: HYPER-POSSIBLE.
Niall Gallen, a AHRC funded doctoral researcher in the Department of English Literature at University of Birmingham and co-founder of the Contemporary Theoretical Network, directs us to a huge amount of materials by, and relating to, the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit (including lots of links to read things for free online!)
Giorgia Rizzioli, a AHRC funded PhD Candidate at Coventry University who will be undertaking a secondment with us ahead of HYPER-POSSIBLE highlights relevant materials that she has been engaging with during her studies.
We hope that you’ll find these new additions to HYPER-TEXTS to be insightful, useful and enjoyable during this most recent Covid-19 lockdown in the UK.
Stay safe.
