The Pod Café

The Pod has successfully reframed what is expected of a local authority mental health service, focusing on the city at large, people, assets and outcomes being part of something bigger.

The Pod run a city centre cafe and residency space, maintain an allotment space which grows food for the cafe and they also manage a small exhibition space, housed in a shed which was designed and built by Bob and Roberta Smith.

The Pod focuses on critically engaged artistic practices and quiet activism allowing creativity to positively impact the lives of Coventry’s residents.
