Coventry Biennial

This Visual Arts Roundtable event, hosted by the City of Culture Trust aims to contribute to and develop key discussions about the Visual Arts in the City and region including:

Raising the profile of the Visual Arts in Coventry and how the City of Culture Trust can celebrate the Visual Arts?

How can we be inclusive and develop a wider offer, increasing engagement in the Visual Arts and supporting the development of visual artists in our city?

How can we work together to make the Visual Arts in Coventry engaging and relevant to all of Coventry’s citizens?

How can Visual Artists make the most of the international platform the City of Culture year has to offer?

Join us for this evening with speaker Laurie Peak, the Director of Superslow Way.

About Superslow Way:

Super Slow Way is an arts programme in Pennine Lancashire shaped by local communities working alongside a wide range of local, national and international artists. Superslow Way works with the diverse communities found along the canal’s route, from Blackburn to Pendle.
The vision is for the canal to become a vehicle for bringing communities together on a waterway which everyone shares, exploring how radical and ambitious art programming by the people of Pennine Lancashire can develop creativity, strength and connectedness across and within communities.
They are part of Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places programme and hosted by Canal & River Trust.
