Join Birmingham-based artist and educator Caitlin Kiely to reimagine and reconstruct the iconic post-war Coventry Cathedral through the process of collage.
Caitlin often takes archival material as a starting point for her projects and is interested in the materiality and expanded history of a site beyond what we already know or can be seen. In this drop-in workshop, you will collaboratively weave together geological, historical and human timelines relating to the construction of the well-known and loved Cathedral site.
No prior collage experience needed, all welcome.
Please note: There are two sessions, please feel free to attend the 10am – 12pm session or the 1pm – 2pm session. You’re very welcome to stay for both!
