Zoe Dickinson-Philips, 2025 Executive Assistant at Coventry Biennial, will discuss queer practices in the most recent Biennial programme.
She will explore how her PhD research on local queer histories interacts with the Obsessions, Possessions theme of this year’s Biennial. This will focus particularly on how queer studies has approached locally embodied queer practices, linking this with the Biennial’s approach to inclusion and placement of queer collections in this year’s exhibitions.
