An opportunity to join a relaxed online conversation about the future shape of Coventry’s Mothers Who Make Hub as they continue to explore its partnership and funding from Coventry Biennial of Contemporary Art.
Long-term hub facilitator Adele Mary Reed and Coventry Biennial curator Anneka French, both mothers and practising freelance artists, invite hub members old and new to share ideas about what they would like to see happen over the next few years for the Hub and its members, and how it can best use the support from Coventry Biennial. Tell them what you have particularly enjoyed from MWMC’s programme so far since its inception in 2019, from peer support sessions online and offline at The Herbert, to art workshops and artist talks, exhibition tours, zine publishing… What you would like to see more of, what venues have worked well for you, what needs to be given more thought? Equally, if you haven’t made it along before, what have been the barriers?
Adele and Anneka will have a series of questions and ideas to propose, but we are equally welcoming of all kinds of thoughts you want to bring along.
