Drop-in Victorian photographic portrait demonstrations!

Tell your story to photographer and artist-in-residence Jo Gane as she uses her 130-year-old restored large-scale Victorian mahogany camera to capture sitters and find out more about the process.

On the same day, Compton Verney are presenting: Human Library (2pm – 5pm)

The Human Library is a library of people. Readers can borrow human beings; open books to have conversations they would not normally have access to. Every human book from the bookshelf represents a group in our society that is subjected to prejudice, stigmatisation or discrimination. Read someone else’s story, and challenge your frame of reference.

Please note: Drop-in, no need to book. You must pay for entry to Compton Verney.

This project has been commissioned by Coventry Biennial and Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park, made possible by funding from Arts Council England and Coventry City Council.
