Coventry Biennial Cycle Club is designed to connect people with artists and cultural institutions in Coventry and Warwickshire in a social way that benefits health, wellbeing and promotes mutual support.
During this meeting the Cycle Club will ride from Coventry City Centre to Warwick Arts Centre on the University of Warwick campus where we will meet their Exhibitions Curator Thomas Ellmer.
Thomas will lead us on a tour of the current exhibition in the Mead Gallery called “What’s Already Going On” by artist Katrina Palmer who is interested in our capacity to change paths, to confound stereotypes and to act in new ways.
We will then cycle back to Coventry city centre by a slightly longer route.

The Coventry Biennial Cycle Club is FREE and open to everyone, however, for your safety and the safety of the group, we ask that you observe the following rules and guidelines:
- Ensure that your bike is road worthy, has lights and perhaps a bell.
- Ensure that you wear a helmet at all times, as well as weather appropriate clothing.
- Bring your own water, and other ride supplies (perhaps a phone, inner tube, pump and tool).
This event includes a total of 10 miles cycling on public roads, and some cycle paths.
Each meeting of the Coventry Biennial Cycle Club will be led by members of the Coventry Biennial team who will ensure that no one is left behind by the group, and that informal support is available along the route and at our destinations. This is a social ride and all participants join at their own risk
This event is not suitable for anyone under the age of 16. Participants under the age of 18 must be joined by a parent or guardian throughout the event (all attendees must hold tickets).
Details of the route will be sent to tocket holders prior to the event.
