Local photographer and documentarian Alan Van Wijgerden has been capturing images of Coventry for decades. His vast collection of hundreds of thousands of photographs tell stories of the history of the city from over 40 years.
We exhibited a large number of photographs from his collection at Coventry Biennial 2021.
More recently, Alan has been capturing videos at local events where participants and organisers share a little insight into their activity. These intimate videos are then shared on Alan’s Facebook page, throughout Coventry Biennial 2025, Alan is capturing videos with artists, curators and participants.
