Our mission statement includes the lines:
“Activating spaces, exchanges & experiences” and “With Coventry, it’s neighbours & beyond”
To date, that has largely been delivered through our commissioning, exhibitions programmes and our wide ranging series of events. It was always the plan that these simple lines of text came to represent more. A holistic approach to supporting artistic practice, our local scene, our communities. At a time when more and more spaces for developing, making and showing art in the CV-postcode area are being lost, we’re delighted to be in the position to take action. To be able to offer artists and their many collaborators shelter from the storm.
We’re delighted to announce that we are now offering artist studios, offices for small creative business and event space in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Housed in a slightly dilapidated, but safe and secure Georgian villa on Newbold Terrace with views over Jephson Gardens, this building offers 24/7 access, ample parking and private spaces at a range of sizes. Only a few minutes walk from the town’s galleries, museum and theatres, this new space offers its residents the chance to contribute to a unique and growing cultural ecosystem.
We’ll be hosting an open day for people who are interested in viewing the space on Saturday the 25th January 2025 from 10am – 5pm. Just drop-in for a chat, a hot drink and a look around!
