Coventry Biennial is a social, political and critical platform for contemporary art, taking place every two years, we produce significant exhibitions, events and activities in Coventry and the surrounding area for diverse and widespread audiences and participants. Through volunteering, you’ll work closely with our team, some of the exhibiting artists and members of the public during exhibitions and events.
Volunteering with us is a great way to meet like minded people, to develop new skills and to get valuable experience of working in the art and culture sectors. As a social Biennial, we like to get to know our volunteers and there are several members of our core team and artists exhibiting in our 2021 programme that we met through our volunteer programmes in previous years.
Other success stories include our past volunteers securing paid work with our partner organisations, gaining exhibition opportunities across the region and we have seen many of our past volunteers utilise their experiences with us in successful job applications in sectors as diverse as hospitality, retail and education.
We have opportunities for volunteers starting immediately and running through until the end of February 2022.
